The Courier Leasing Begins in October
First residents expected in January; public invited to tour a new unit during VictorFest

Victor’s new workforce housing development at Sherman Park has a new name and is nearing its first major milestone, with leasing applications scheduled to open in October and the first residents expected to move in early next year.
The 90-unit development will be called The Courier, a name that honors George Victor Sherwood, the local postal carrier for whom the City of Victor was named. A cairn and plaque will be installed on the property recognizing Sherwood and the contributions of postal carriers who have connected communities like Victor throughout their history.
Construction is progressing on the four-building development, with Building D scheduled to be the first completed. Leasing applications for the first available units are expected to open in October, with occupancy planned for January 2027. Additional buildings are expected to become available approximately every six weeks thereafter.
The Courier is being developed on approximately three acres of City-owned land at Sherman Park through a partnership between the City of Victor, Teton County Joint Housing Authority and Snavely Group. The development includes 90 rental units across four buildings, including 55 income-restricted units and 35 market-rate units.
All 90 homes will have a qualified local preference, helping prioritize housing for people who work and live in Teton County. The City retains ownership of the land and has made it available to the development through a long-term ground lease. Construction began in September 2025.
