DEPARTMENT MISSION:

The Mission of the Clerk’s Office is to build trust and confidence by promoting transparency, engaging the community, supporting elected officials, and informing the public by providing access to public records. The City Clerk’s office is available to aid anyone, including residents, in accessing all public documents and information. We look forward to serving you in an efficient, fair, and courteous manner.

The City Clerk is appointed by the Mayor and Councilmembers and is the custodian of all official city records, ordinances , and Council proceedings . The City Clerk’s Office also provides administrative support to City Council, various boards, commissions, and committees .

Citizens may inquire about elections , business licensing , park reservations , apply for Special Event Permits , or request for public records . All archived Meeting Agendas and Meeting Minutes can now be found online. We are working hard to improve your ease of access to information. Please visit the Online Document Repository or contact staff with questions regarding previous meeting information.

The City will not be offering Notary Public Stamps and signatures to the public at this time.

The City is now accepting payment online for non-property sales tax. Please see the Sales Tax Page for more information.

Forms are now fillable and payable directly through the website.
