Bridge Construction



Sealed Bids for the Victor S. 500 W. Bridge Repair Project will be received by the City of Victor at the Victor Public Works Building, 280 Stephens Way, Victor, ID 83455 until 1:00 PM local time on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 PM local time on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Public Works Building of the City of Victor, 280 Stephens Way, Victor, ID. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

The project will install a concrete pad in the bed of the channel to convert the bridge to a box culvert. Excavation and grading of the channel bed and stabilization of banks upstream with riprap is also required.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Sunrise Engineering, Inc., 770 S. Washington St. Ste. A., Afton, WY  83110. The project manager for this contract is Robert Hood, P.E., phone number 307.885.8500. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents may be viewed and printed online by registering with the Issuing Office at . Click on “Plan Room” at the top right corner of the homepage. Bidders must register, sign-in, and then choose the specific project to become a plan holder and obtain access to Bidding/Contract Documents, Specifications and Plans. Following registration, complete sets of documents may be downloaded at no cost as a portable document format (PDF) files. Notices regarding changes/amendments to the Bidding/Contract Documents, Specifications and Plans will be sent to the e-mail address associated with the bidder’s registration. Bidders are responsible to maintain current and correct contact information and check the plan room often to receive updates or additional documents/changes/amendments.

A BID GUARANTY of 5 percent of the BID AMOUNT is required. Separate PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS each in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT AMOUNT will be required. Each bidder must supply all the information required by the Bid Documents and Specifications.

This Project is funded and administered by the City of Victor. All contractor, subcontractor, or specialty contractor shall be required to have a current license as a Public Works Contractor in the State of Idaho to submit a bid or proposal on this project. Public Works Licenses should be at the appropriate class of license for the project.

All prospective bidders are directed to the Instructions for Bidders for discussion of Bid policies, procedures, and requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids.
